I have the Pioneer BDR-S12UHT recorder and player. Read original UHD blu-ray but could not play due to processor issue.
The problem is that I want to remove the anti copy with MakeMKV and I get the error shown in the image. Is this model compatible?
or the error is due to something else that I do not know.

a greeting.

Read through the UHD FAQ, particularly the Hashed Keys section.

This is the case and circuit board of it,with the flasher gui and the firmware that may be the ones for me. I was hoping to not get the sleep bug,so i wondered the DE firmware. Also wondered if the rom/drive will eventually call it a night after a while or is this just a rumor. As you can see i have the 2 firmware that seem relevant to me in the same folder as the gui(or if i should go with some other firmware in the firmware packs, but is it better have the folder on my system hdd or does it not matter. Just wanted to show the case,and/or if i have to install it directly to the cabinet or is this case ok?. And when i start the gui is it something i need to check like enc or make a dump of original?

I have read a bunch so i hope i have understood correctly,thanks

TC.

The WH16NS60 does not have the sleep bug.

WH16NS60 1.03 is an encrypted firmware. Don't use 1.03-MK as 1.02-MK is far better, so flash it to WH16NS60 1.02-MK. You could either leave it on 1.02-MK or flash to DE WH16NS60 1.00. The latest version of SDFtool Flasher will autoamatically detect and apply the encrypted firmware flag for you.
Cheers :D

PS: The reason i wanted to go so you know on the DE firmware and not MK was so i could use it on dvdfab and anydvd so on in the future. But i think all i need is to be able to use it with mkv. It is the one i mostly use anyways :)

Try cleaning your discs. It is rare for a UHD disc to not need cleaning as more often than not there can be an invisible to the eye film residue left on the disc from processing. First, try wiping the disc with a microfibre cloth. If it still won't read, try a more thorough cleaning using sopay water and dry with a microfibre cloth.
Cheers :D

Lines 5 & 6 are what you need to take notice of. Line 6 tells you that the VUK for this disc is unknown and can't be decrypted. Line 5 tells you that MakeMKV has saved a dump file for you to send in.

Before doing any of this, please make sure that you have checked the box to allow MakeMKV internet access in preferences so that the VUK's for UHD discs can be downloaded. You cannot decrypt any UHD discs without them.

Once you have enabled internet access, try again.
