Regular blu rays no problem. I did 50 blu rays over the weekend. It's the UHD part that's giving me problems.
Heck I've got a really nice Pioneer BDR-XD05B that's an external USB 3.0 device that rips blu rays with makemkv perfectly.

I second this, that the Pioneer BDR-XD05S (S=Silver in my case) works perfectly with nearly every blu-ray I've thrown at it, except for Disc 2 of Apocalypse Now 3-disc edition.

Item 122749201424 at Ebay is perfect! LG WH16NS40 with firmware of 1.02 and SVC code: NS50
Contacted seller and they guaranteed that the drive you order will match those specs and photo on the listing. I ordered and received mine in 2 days! Great seller and a great price.. I have ripped several perfectly so far installed in the Nexstar DX enclosure.

I've had a couple of those enclosures with fried circuit boards right out of the box lately so I'm no longer using them. The OWC offering is quite good, despite the color

Amazon UK - BC-12D2HT- ASUS - Shipped with 3.01
at the weekend.
yep. I think we are too late for stock / shipped from 'normal' suppliers / back of some local store maybe if wind is in right direction.
