What Drive Should I Buy?

Hi all!
Brand new to ripping, as I am trying to put all of my family’s home videos on a network attached storage. What disc drive should I buy (Dec 13, 2025) so i can get the videos on my computer in .mkv format?

Any help would be appreciated,
