ASUS BW-16D1H-U 4K Issues

#1 Post by mallinss » Sat Sep 09, 2023 7:49 am

Hello All,
I have two (2) ASUS BW-16D1H-U external USB drives that I have been using for years on DVD's and Blu-rays with Makemkv on my MAC without issue, but I do have a lot of 4K Blu-rays which I would like to rip using these drives, but I see these don't currently work, looking for advice on whether they can be 'flashed' to work, see details below and attached.

I also have another drive as well, which I don't use, but maybe possible to 'flash' this one, details also below.

Regards

Steve
