PIONEER Blu-ray Drive BDR-S13UBK

#1 Post by t3t4- » Sun Jul 09, 2023 5:25 am

I just got this thing, it doesn't work for anything copy wise. Didn't know before I bought it, now I do. Simple question real quick: Should I send it back and get my money back, or is there a firmware available to fix it?

I have a MFD date 4/2023
Firmware 1.04

Is there a fix for this drive currently?

Thanks in advance.

Okay, not being a dic k here, but if you can flash it then why can't I with a fixed firmware? I already have the drive, I just need the 0's and 1's to make it work.

And to also, what is your price for this drive in fully functional form able to read and copy any optical media currently available?

Pioneer drives with newer firmware (December 2022 or newer) cannot currently be flashed.
Cheers :D

Well that's a real serious shame. This should be the Cadillac of all drives. But it's worthless in it's current form.

Hello,

Does the BDR-S13EBK work correctly for reading and decrypting a UHD disc with Make MKV ?

What is the difference between S13EBK and S13UBK ?

Thanks for you answers... ;)
