Firmware Upgrade Help almost understand this

#1 Post by ArchDrakin » Sun Jul 03, 2022 6:44 am

I have :

BD-RE WH16NS60

Drive Information
OS device name: E:
Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST
Product: BD-RE WH16NS60
Revision: 1.03
Serial number:
Firmware date: 2120-05-08 10:10
Bus encryption flags: 17
Highest AACS version: 76

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible (with patched firmware)
Drive platform: MT1959
Harware support: Yes
Firmware support: No
Firmware type: Original (patched version available)
Firmware version: 1.03
DVD all regions: Possible (with patched firmware)
BD raw data read: Possible (with patched firmware)
BD raw metadata read: Possible (with patched firmware)
Unrestricted read speed: Possible (with patched firmware)

I used SDFtool Flasher (v1.3.4) to make sure it is Encrypted

I watched:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyQV1aP ... astyapples

For me, my question is for step 3 of the video------

makemkvcon64.exe f --all-yes -d “ your drive letter here EX D”: rawflash enc -i “path to your firmware Example: C:\Users\Billy\Downloads\Downgrade-Enabled-Firmware\Auto-Flash\LG-Desktop-NS60-sleep-fix\WH16NS60-1.02-MK.bin”

the path for my firmware I will select the correct location but I currently have

mk-firmware-pack-20200720>MK>HL-DT-ST>BH16NS60>HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BH16NS60-1.02-N000600-212005081014.bin

is the "LG-Desktop-NS60-sleep-fix\WH16NS60-1.02-MK.bin”?

I just need the bin file that includes the no sleep, please.

I enabled the internet and have it working ....but

I have
HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BH16NS60-1.02-NM00600-212005081014.bin

or
HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BH16NS60-1.02-N000600-212005081014.bin

or should it be
HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.03-NM00600-212005081010.bin

Also when I use the SDFtool Flasher (v1.3.4) how do I determine if I need to check the red X or the green check mark for Encrypted or not?
