4K UHD HDR turn off ?

Are all 4K UHD in HDR ? Is it possible to get a non-HDR version such as the blu ray version, but in 4K UHD quality of course.

I don't think so. I believe the whole point is 4k resolution with high dynamic range.

AHHH I SEE. Also how come whenever I use the K-Lite Codec Pack's own MPC player to play ripped 4K UHD files, theres a high-pitched sound emitting from the computer ?

coil wine what are your specs?
coil wine usually only happen under high load so maybe your gpu does not support h.265 and its doing software decoding on the cpu

that cpus igpu has h.265 decoding wouldn't think that is much of a load to make it coil whine but its possible i guess.

On the long run, is that coil whine detrimental to the CPU ? Will it cause problems ?
