ASUS BW-16D1HT

Hello,

I've been doing a ton of research on this site and im interested in getting the ASUS BW-16D1HT to backup my 4k blu ray movies. I know that a few of the tutorials and guide are a few months old. I was just wondering if the process is the same? Do the newer ASUS BW-16D1HT drives have firmware that is encrypted and harder to flash? or do i just simply flash it to 3.10MK as per this thread: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19634

Sorry for the newb question, I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything and brick my drive!

The guides are updated when things change. Following them is the way to go.
