Based on documentation, this drive is a bit of an enigma...

SVC Code: NS40, manufactured in Feb 2017

Transition to NS50 observed to have been ~Oct 2015? Sellers, ever seen such a thing?

What does MakeMKV report in the highlighted section? You can copy/paste that info as text.

We'd like to see what is highlighted in GREEN, but w/ SVC Code: NS40, I expect to see MT1939, which DOES NOT support UHD. It can support LibreDrive, tho.

LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: MT1959
Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: 1.00
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes
Unrestricted read speed: Yes
