Flashing drive firmware with Linux ? - WH16NS40

#1 Post by tux21 » Tue Jan 05, 2021 11:57 pm

Hi,

I've been reading the forum, but have not seen any discussion on flashing drive firmware using linux. Not everyone uses or has a windows installation (nor wants to pay for Microsoft spyware).

Are there any flash tools and guides for linux?

Have any of the windows flash utilities been tested using wine?

I'm considering a WH16NS40 drive and am trying to research all options before a purchase.

Thank you
