Asus BW-16D1H-U PRO

#1 Post by Emt999 » Fri Jun 05, 2020 11:14 am

Hello all from Finland!

I am new here, but I am been trying to find correct info for hours now and I am still very confused! So please help me with this!

1. Is it Asus BW-16D1H-U PRO, UHD Ripping friendly or not?
2. If it’s based on firmware, which firmware it should have in it?
3. If not, can I make it work somehow?

I would get this drive very cheap, so I would need to know before I buy! I am looking easiest (+cheapest) way to rip my collection to hard drive to use with for example with Zappiti! Thanks for all the help!

No, the -U is not UHD capable. That's been posted multiple times on this forum, including by me. The drive itself cannot do BDXL disks, which is fundamental to being able to do UHD.
