WH14NS40 4K Too Many AV sync issues

So I have 3 LG WH14NS40(s)
One from 2017 - Flashed WH16NS60 1.00
One from 2020 - Was flashed WH16NS60 1.00, went to 1.02MK
and One from 2024 - Flashed WH16NS60 1.02MK

The 2017 and 2024 drives can both read and rip 4ks with no issue, but the 2020 drive can read 4ks but fails on all UHD rips with too many AV sync issues. This has to be a drive issue, because the same discs have been ripped in my 17 and 24 drives. The 20 drive can rip CDs/DVDs/standard blus with no issue. Anyone run into this before/have any suggestions of what I should try? The issue remains constant across different sata ports, and with both 1.00 and 1.02MK firmware.

try cleaning the laser
