Hi there, i found a cheap second hand (LG Blu-ray drive BH16NS55)
More info found on the sticker of this drive:
The manufacture of this drive is July 2020
ROM VER:1:04
SVC CODE:NS55
could anyone tell me if these drives can read/rip 4K discs straight away, or would I need to flash the drive?
Thanks.

Re: LG Blu-ray drive BH16NS55 question
All LG / ASUS drives need to be flashed. Be careful with used ones. You hear a lot that the drive or the laser dies early.
