WH14NS40 not reading

Post by 96Chaser »

Hello All! I'm new to the scene with an internal 2018 LG WH14NS40 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer, and would really appreciate some Help.

Essentially, I picked the wrong Firmware, and it prevented me from ejecting the tray. That was fixed(thanks to the video on the Ultimate Guide) but now discs are no longer read. I've tried DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, but neither works. The drive itself still flashes, and MakeMKV recognizes that a disc is inserted but ultimatly stops and asks for a disc to be inserted. Thank you for your response

The sticker has a S/N but the MakeMV shows it as a diffrent SN(possibly from another flash).
