The only thing I can't seem to find a definitive answer to is whether I should flash the firmware encrypted or not. My guess is, that the manufacturer-supplied firmware is encrypted, as the guide states that "firmware with date in 2020 is encrypted" and I bought the drive very recently. However, I am not able to find an unambiguous indication of whether I need to flash the MK firmware encrypted or not.
A clear way to determine whether the MK firmware needs to be encrypted for my drive would be greatly appreciated.
