BDR-212 EBK cannot read specific disc

Hello

I have two pioneer BDR-212 EBK's both crossflashed to the same firmware BDR-S12JX.
However a specific disc cannot be read on one of them it never spins up and stops trying after 60 seconds and shows "no disc inserted", other 4K discs get detected on both of them just fine its just one particular one.
sometimes restarting MakeMKV helps but sometimes not.

Could it be the drive dying? if it is dying, i can still return it.

Clean the disc.
Use the other drive for that disc.

As silly as it sounds, it does happen sometimes that a drive just doesn't like a particular disc.

Might be helpful to post name of disk so others can see if they have same issues
