ASUS drive given up the Ghost.

Post by beamer »

Hi my Asus Deive has stopped working at random times, it’ll load a 4K fine and start to convert but stops at random points and then won’t recognise the disc until it’s ejected and reloaded. Then it’ll do the same but at a different position on the disc. I have tried it a different computer, with a fresh install of win 10, different firmware with the same results.

I can only assume the drive is toast and I’m going to need a new one.

My question is what’s best and where to get one from that’ll work.

Cheers.
