BW-16D1HT not powering on

I have a bw-16d1ht that worked great, then I powered off for a few months. When I plugged it back in it just won’t turn on. It is in a NexStar NST-536S3. The enclosure lights up, but not the Asus drive and is not recognized by the computer. Any ideas?

Many ideas! Did you try to attach it to SATA to ceck if it's a problem with the enclosure?
