Lately I've noticed VERY slow transfer speeds from my Buffalo BU10 which I have not had in the past. What is going on?

3 things are the usual cause for this but it could be a lot more.
Dirty or bad disc clean the disc with a damp lint free microfiber cloth and dry with another.

Dirty laser clean the lasers in the drive same way to clean a disc.

This can also be caused by the drive not getting enough power is the light on top red at any time?

1. These have been brand new discs. (not to say they can't be dirty but generally they are clean)
2. Will try that
3. No, never red. Although are there any Y adapters I can use to power the drive but use the back ports of my tower?

Please this has been said 1000 times it don't matter if it's new if the discs give you trouble and you don't have another drive you clean the disc
