Im new too all this so please help me

Hi everybody my name is Taha and im from Sweden. I love movies and series and i love the highest quality so i buy the ones i like on disc when they come out. i also subscribe to streaming services but they dont have everything so i decided to start up my own 30 TB NAS with plex or jellyfin. So for that i want to rip my movie collection so that led me here to makemkv. I understand that makemkv is the best program to do it because it keeps the original quality with no loss and i can ad on swedish subtitles on it so thats perfect. BUT i got lost on whitch drive i can use. After a long research i understud that it is not that easy to just plug and play with any device. I think it must have the right driver/firmware. I need your help to get started. The best solution would be an internal uhd reader for my pc but my chassi dont have space for that so it must be and external. My wish is to buy an plug and play unit but if it dont exist that kind of unit im happy to adjust the firmware. I just want it to be smooth as possible. It would also be perfect if that unit could be bought from their officiall website or atleast ship to me in sweden. Thank you for the help.

You could buy a pre-flashed drive from a seller on these forums or get yourself a Verbatim 43888 which contains a LG BU40N drive inside and flash it yourself.
