Hello,
I just bought the Asus BW-16D1HT and wanted to confirm I'm doing this right for flashing.
Command I was planning to use
.\makemkvcon64.exe f --all-yes -d F: rawflash enc -i C:\mk-firmware-pack-20200720\mk-firmware-pack-20200720\MK\ASUS\BW-16D1HT\ASUS-BW-16D1HT-3.10-WM01601-211901041014.bin
Downloaded the firmware from this thread --- viewtopic.php?f=19&t=19113 --- https://www.makemkv.com/download/mk-fir ... 200720.zip
Drive Information
OS device name: F:
Current profile: BD-ROM
Manufacturer: ASUS
Product: BW-16D1HT
Revision: 3.11
Serial number: xxxxxxxxxxx
Firmware date: 2120-12-01 17:59
Bus encryption flags: 1F
Highest AACS version: 76
LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: MT1959
Drive is in a USB Drive Enclosure --- I purchased a OWC Mercury Pro Enclosure for 5.25" Optical Drive - OWCMR3UKIT
I figured I'd ask if these were the right steps before I try incase I am planning to do something incorrectly.
Thanks,
Evan
Firmware Flashing for BW-16D1HT
Re: Firmware Flashing for BW-16D1HT
Ended up trying my above steps with the command shown above and the MK Firmware Pack and was successful, no issues so far and I was able to rip a 4K UHD.

Re: Firmware Flashing for BW-16D1HT
The "PRO" is the exact same drive as the BW-16D1HT and has the exact same (identical) firmware. Use the SDFtool Flasher. viewtopic.php?f=16&t=22896
