There is a beta key. Apply it an post your current info. I suspect that flashing hasn‘t worked with your special setup. You could have also checked with the flasher afterwards. But some people just don‘t follow the tutorial.
I DID follow the tutorial. No disc was inside and the tray was closed. Not too hard. The shown model type in the flashing tool was also different after the process so it obviously worked. This is the current Data from MakeMKV:

Ok this is weird. Now that I have found the public key and re-activated MakeMKV it works. But only with MakeMKV. I Already bought AnyMP4 Blu Ray Ripper as I didn't believe, MakeMKV would be usable one day. I really hope, it will be maintained and subsequent beta keys will be released.

Fine! I only use AnyDvd and XReveal besides Makemkv. That program you mention is not recommended if you ask me.

You are very welcome! Next time ask what is recommended. You should now also be able to PM.

I bought the Verbatim 43889 today in Germany and got the following Pioneer Drive:

Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-UD03
Revision: 1.14
Serial number: ...
Firmware date: 2020-06-15
Bus encryption flags: 1B

LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: RS8511
Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-US03
Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: 1.14
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes
Unrestricted read speed: Yes

strangely Makemkv didn't show the entry: Highest AACS version. Can i flash this drive to rip UHD Discs and can somebody help me with the firmware?
