Which firmware for the ASUS BW-16D1H-U PRO please ? I also have issue with Nero Burning rom (a better software ?) which doesn’t detect my device maybe need a driver I don’t have, just the default Windows one.

Hello, Im also considering to buy an Asus BW-16D1HT, specifically:
Model: BW-16D1HT
Complete model name: BW-16D1HT/BLK/B/AS
Manufacture date: July 2016
Model P/N: 90DD0200 - B30000

I would like to know if it's possible to make it able to rip UHD blu-rays while maintaining the ability to burn bluray discs, as I've read in the guide:

In some cases crossflashing an Asus drive to an LG or the other way around you may no longer be able to burn disks-SamuriHL

If that reveals possible what would be the best "firmware path" to follow?

We don't know sometimes it's fine sometimes it's not
If it's not then You just go to Asus fw and have to deal with the sleep bug
