PSA: New Archgon UHD drives do not allow flashing

I bought the drive not knowing that the new version does not allow flashing. Is there any hope? Would changing the enclosure help (I'm guessing, given current discussions), but if yes, what should I get? Thanks a lot for your help in this.

Thank you so much for your answer. My apologies for being dense. I just want to confirm that I can effectively get something like the BENFEI SATA to USB 3.0 Cable and flash the drive.

Also, would you have experience taking it apart? Are the four screws under the rubber pads, or am I missing something?
