How is PowerDVD working on my AMD processor?
Because you used makemkv to decrypt it or if you talking about live maybe you used anydvd that removes the requirements of an Intel CPU for UHD.
This is of course if we are talking about UHD regular bluray or DVD always worked on and CPUs

This drive does work out of the box with MakeMKV. I have tested it on both Mac and PC with good results and no fails. I even made a video showing it work.

Below is a link to the drive on amazon that I purchased from that worked out of the box without flashing.

I know this is an older thread but I am hoping someone can help me. I cannot get this drive to rip a UHD disc on either Mac or Windows. I only have one UHD disc, which is a movie called Rad so I'm not sure if it's the movie itself. Regular Blu-Rays work just fine, but with this I get several errors. Allow internet access is enable on both the Mac and PC. Please see my attachment images.

Your LibreDrive Information section says:

Status: Possible, not yet enabled.

MakeMKV can't rip UHDs until that status is Enabled.

MakeMKV says that drive is a Pioneer BDR-XS07U, revision 1.03. I think that puts you in the camp of people with Pioneer drives that are too new. See this thread: Pioneer firmware update February 2023

Thank you very much for the response. It looks like there is possibly a fix in the works so I may as well hang on to this drive for a little bit.

Count me in the group with firmware 1.03 waiting on the fix. Thanks for the future fix for us late adopters.
