Verbatim 71094/BDR-UD03

Post by PegasusPilot »

Good evening folks,

Long-time lurker, first time poster.
I’ve recently gotten into backing up all of my movies, which is expanding to UHDs, and I have several slim external Verbatim drives I’ve been using (model 71094). I see that quite a few other folks have received help with flashing the firmware on their BDR-UD03 to a UHD-compatible variant, and I want to ask if someone would be willing to help.

My drive stats are as follows:
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-UD03
Revision: 1.14
Firmware date: 2020-06-15
Bus encryption flags: 1B
Highest AACS version: 81

LibreDrive stats as follows:
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: RS8511
Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-US03
Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: 1.14
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes
Unrestricted read speed: Yes

I’ve looked through all of the other posts in this thread and my equipment matches what everyone else who’ve been PM’d have posted about.

I understand the importance of reading/following the tutorial for flashing the firmware to BDR-UD04. I’ve watched both of the walkthroughs for the “Ultra Hax0R” flashing guide and I’m comfortable with CP/PS. I also noted that in the Ultimate Flashing Guide it’s recommended to only use Marty’s SDF GUI, but I’m also comfortable with using the CLI and being mindful of what I’m executing.

I’ll be monitoring this thread and I’ll be watching my PMs if someone has the time and would be able to help.

Thank you in advance!
