Re: SDFtool Flasher
SDFtool Flasher updated to v1.3.6. Just a couple of code adjustments and minor bug fixes.
Any issues using it, you can go back to the previous version. Download links for both are in the first post.

Re: SDFtool Flasher
Sadly the gui of this tool appears very small on my screen and refuses to allow itself to be increased in size.
Re: SDFtool Flasher
Did you see the note near the top of the first post in this thread?
NOTE: If the GUI looks a bit deformed (happens on a 4k monitor), you can right click the exe and select properties. In the compatibility tab, click "Change high DPI settings" then under "High DPI scaling override" tick the box and select "System (Enhanced)" in the dropbox.

Re: SDFtool Flasher
Hello! I am new to this so not sure what I'm doing. Everything seems like it should work but everytime I go to flash, I get an error. I don't know if I'm just dense and not selecting the proper one or what.
I saw the recommended flash version to use is "DE_LG_BU40N_1.03_MK.bin" but it gives me an error that says "Command produced error code 0x82052602".
Any help would be appreciated.

Ensure there is no disc in the drive and the tray is closed.built4comfort wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 10:53 pmHello! I am new to this so not sure what I'm doing. You should see a green check for both MT1959 drive platform and Encrypted firmware. If there is not a green check for encrypted firmware, click on the red X to toggle it.
Is this an Archgon?

No disk and tray is closed. Green check marks on both. It sure is! I thought I saw it on the list of accepted but maybe I didn't pay close enough attention to the model?MartyMcNuts wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 11:14 pmEnsure there is no disc in the drive and the tray is closed.built4comfort wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 10:53 pmHello! What USB port do you have it connected to?
What OS are you using?
Are you using the new SDFtool Flasher v1.3.6? If so, try using the previous version, v1.3.5 and see if that makes a difference.
Cheers

Re: SDFtool Flasher
I've got it connected to a USB (it's labeled 5G but it's blue port) 3.0. I'm using Windows 11. I tried it on v1.3.6 first but then tried v1.3.5. Which is when I posted here.MartyMcNuts wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 11:45 pmIt should be compatible and everyhting looks right.built4comfort wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 11:29 pmNo disk and tray is closed. Maybe try a different USB port if you can, preferable not a case port. Direct from the back of the motherboard if possible.built4comfort wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 11:51 pmI've got it connected to a USB (it's labeled 5G but it's blue port) 3.0. I'm using Windows 11. Only port I haven't tried yet is the teal port. All have been on the motherboard. I will give it a shot, If that doesn't work then I'm just going to do a return on the player. Thanks for your suggestions!MartyMcNuts wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 4:02 amMaybe try a different USB port if you can, preferable not a case port. Or, if possible, try to flash it using a friend's/family members Windows PC.built4comfort wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 10:23 pmOnly port I haven't tried yet is the teal port.
