I apologize for not adding the other picture. I thought I was OK but it stopped ripping half way through. This was a 3 disk set from Wall Mart. 3D, Blue Ray, and UHD.

OK, I'd suggest cleaning the disk, even if it's new. In the If you're experiencing rip errors, please read here first! topic, there is a link to a site that describes recommended cleaning methods.

The log indicates that the drive found a section it couldn't read, and while it was trying to do so, the operating system decided the drive went "off-line". It wasn't, but Windows thought it was.

@Verisurf,

How is the drive connected to your computer? If externally, it may not be getting enough power.

Also, have you tried backing up the entire disc to FOLDER?
Cheers :D

Some added information. The read rate starts out high at over 17 M/s then is slows down and stops at Output size 4197.3 M.
I removed the Windows 10 Movie & TV app thinking it may be hindering the process but to no avail.
The disc drive was updated to version 11.0 before I started reading the forum. I was able to cross flash it to it's current configuration thanks to Mike's programing, your notes and others. I'm not that knowledgeable with computers. I think I just got lucky and did the right things. At least I thought so.

The drive is internal and connected to the Motherboard SATA port.

I don't understand how to copy to FOLDER? Can you explain?
On these attempts I have given a hard drive path to copy to.

Ok. To decrypt the entire disc to folder, after you insert a disc and MakeMKV gathers the disc information, select the folder option (see green markings on picture). On the popup screen, make sure that decrypt content is checked and select a location to store the decrypted folder.

I would like to thank all whom have tried to help me. :D

What drive would you suggest?

Possibly the LG WH16NS60, UHD Official Internal 5.25 which is at the top of your list?

What do I flash it too when I get it installed to unlock UHD Reading/Ripping?

Do you think I would be better off choosing a different driver to lessen my chances of getting a defective one

If so, which ones would have less of a chance?

i have had no defective BU40N and WH16NS40s but those to are also the smallest sample size

the most out of box defective drives for me are WH16NS60 if you can look for drives built after 3/22/19
the 12/15/18-3/15/19 have an extremely high fail rate for those dates its like a 33%-50% fail

the rest are about the same fail rate
WH14NS40
asus BW-16D1HT

there is no reason to get a WH16NS60 unless you want official UHD playback
i would say get a WH14NS40 NS50 and flash it to NS60 to fix the sleep bug
