I have just bought this drive...it is a January 2017 manufactuer date with firmware 3.0. If 3.01 is a faster rip and has no issues otherwise, where can I get 3.01 and how to flash? Or should I just leave well enough alone?

Ok, so when I go to flash the drive with the zip file via the link a few posts up, it says current version 3.00-06 and new version 1.00-A4 Is this what I want? I thought it was 3.01. Is this just the flash program saying 1.00-A4? Will the Asus drive say 3.01 after the flash or 1.00-A4
Well...I'll leave well enough alone then, unless I can hear from someone who has done the flash. 3.01 only increases rip speed I think. Is there no official 3.01 from Asus?

I have done the flash from 3.00 to 3.01 and it worked fine. No, there's no "official" anything from ASUS which is why someone dumped the firmware and teddy put the flash package together for us. To me it sounds like you didn't actually load the 3.01 firmware file when you opened the flasher which is bad. You have to select it using the patched flasher.

Hi, I have a problem I can not decrypt any UHD here:
HL-DT-ST BD-REBH16NS55 1.02 N000200SIK9RFAN8331
Drive (Hardware) Region: 0 (not set!)
Current profile: BD-ROM
Media is a Blu-ray disc.
Total size: 29233824 sectors (57097 MBytes)
Video Blu-ray label: THE_REVENANT
Media is AACS protected!
Drive supports bus encryption!
Disc wants bus encryption!
Drive's signature of the Dv value seems incorrect (bus encryption)!
ERROR processing Blu-ray disc!
I do not know what that means before flashing my player it works.
a solution to solve the problem?
Thanks.
