sdf tool can not be used for pioneers currently

the pioneer auto flasher is windows only but you can use a vm for it

Btw BDRFlash (NOT Billy's auto flasher; although if it also uses nothing more than SPTI it should work as well) can be used on Linux through wine. It's just that instead of using the "dosdevice" / "drive letter" automatically created by wine (which points to /dev/sr*), you need to create one that points to the corresponding /dev/sg* dev node (which can be find out using e.g. lsscsi -g) yourself and use that instead.
