Your second, lower box is wrong. You NEED to choose a full size drive firmware like LG WH16NS60 1.02 firmware. Putting BU40 firmware in the second box won't help. Besides that the flasher seems to think that a disc is in your drive. So fix your first issue and try again.
And you need to check RECOVER not WRITE.

I appreciate everyone here but I think the drive is done for and I will purchase an ASUS and do it right

I use the payed version of PowerDVD Ultra 23 and the Media Player Classic - Black Edition.
