I just wanted to thank everyone who posted tips with software and firmware combos in this topic. I was able to make my writer finaly usable. By default it had issues writing BR disks at all, and it was not reading UHD versions of my movies. Now I can not only use it to watch movies on my PC instead of PS5, but also backup files from my computer to larger disks and not just DVDs

Hello, I have this ASUS SBW-06D2X-U that had revision A102 originally (like some others here in this thread) and I managed to flash the drive with "DE_LG_BU40N_1.03_MK.bin". Is it ok if I sit on this version? Saw some people had issues and was recommended to downgrade to 1.0. Problem is that I tried to flash "DE_LG_BU40N_1.00.bin" and flashing goes normally but FW version doesn't change. It keeps me on 1.03.
