BD-RW BDR-208M

Post by nosfrenatu »

Hello,

using the search I got opposing information about my drive, but this might be due to the time the comments were made. In 2023 the drive seemed not possible to flash, however a post from early 2026 sounded promising.
Drive Information
OS device name: D:
Current profile: BD-ROM
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-208M
Revision: 1.10
Serial number: xxxxx
Firmware date: 2012-08-22
Bus encryption flags: 13
Highest AACS version: 65

LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: RS8301
Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-208
Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: 1.10/ID60
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes
Unrestricted read speed: Yes

No disc inserted
When opening the SDFtool Flasher out of curiosity it gives a complaint about the drive platform.
Can anyone give me a hint, will it be possible to read UHD content?
Thanks for your help.

This is a Pioneer. They are not compatible with SDFtool Flasher as it is for the MT1959 drive platform found in LG drives. You should email your info above to Billycar11 for help with the Pioneer.
Cheers :D
