Wow! thanks it seems to have worked well and now shows as XD06U, I noticed most of the drives in this group chat are showing a text line (Highest AACS version) this line is missing on my drive is this because I have never had a 4K UHD disc in this drive before?

I never paid attention to that. It will change as soon as you put a BD in it. Not necessarily an UHD.

Thanks for the info, I have actually never used this drive for anything but burning a couple of BD-R Data discs a few years ago, never had a Bluray movie in the drive so that will explain the lack of AACS info.
