Re: Pioneer bdr 209 and Pioneer bdr 209m
Hi Cooper,
I have both Pioneer BDR-209D and BDR-209M drives. My OS on both computers is Windows 10, but for some reason I cannot access the System Information of the optical drives. I tried both Device Manager and System Information. The details of the drives are not showing on the right pane of each window. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I'm trying to get you the drive information of both drives, so I can see if I can flash them.
Thank you, sir.

Re: Pioneer bdr 209 and Pioneer bdr 209m
Hello all,
I've bought a used external Pioneer (Buffalo) drive in order to be able to read some UHD-discs which my currently used BU40N doesn't recognize.
Mostly large triple layer BRs are not recognized by my BU40N.
Long story short, is it possible to flash the Pioneer drive to be able to recognize UHD-discs?
Here are the information which MakeMKV shows me:
Laufwerksinformation
OS-Gerätename: D:
Produzent: PIONEER
Produkt: BD-RW BDR-209M
Revision: 8.11
Serienummer:
Firmware-Datum: 2014-01-16
Markierungen der Bus-Verschlüsselung: 1B
Highest AACS version: 76
LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: RS8600
Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-209
Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: 8.11/ID52
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes

Would be great if someone could help me with this.
Thanks and have a good new year!
