Little big problem with a 43890 with Pioneer BDR-UD03 .....
Power outage while flashing process .... I was flashing the drive for a friend and I always testing by using all cables. Power cable connection included.
A few seconds after starting the flashing process power is gone. Notebook worked with accu and the Y-Power-Cable was connected also. But without electric power the flashing process was interrupted and the drive now is not usable.
Is it bricked? Or can I rescue it?
Don't know. It should be most likely in kernel mode. Just run the Flasher and check. Report back.
The situation was the tray wouldn't open, the power LED was lit and Windows Explorer only recognized the drive as a CD drive. Your flashing tool stopped at "Enumerating drives ....1" and didn't recognize the drive.
Buuuut: I only had to wait a bit longer and the flashing tool recognized the drive at last. Flashing process successful!

Hello! Long time MakeMKV user, but first time disc-drive flasher. I'm on a Mac and read through the instructions, the first being I need to be running v1.17.7 or older. I tried downgrading (and I deleted the MakeMKV folder in the library), but when I try opening, I get "Fatal Error Occurred." I don't want to brick my new drive, so I appreciate the help!

Oh boy! You are completely detour! Flashing this drive is not possible with the tools in the forum. I will send you a PM with the correct tool and files. You need to connect your drive to a Windows PC or install a Windows VM ( preferrably VMWare).
