I have confirmed functionality with UHD discs.

To others, this BDR-212V drive was purchased on eBay as "Compatible Pioneer BDR-212DBK" and when received, has a good quality fake sticker. I did not open the case but considering that this firmware is working, it is likely a relabel or reshell to increase seller profits and reduce returns with 3-4 week overseas shipping.
