It wasn't meant to. My guess is he recreated the 'SDF update November 2025' post, which is now the link I shared. Maybe I'm wrong.Mr_Orange wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 10:12 pmThanks but it didn't redirect.Unplanned9977 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 10:08 pmMike basically reset that post:

Re: All Pioneer drives will be LibreDrive supported
This new SDF, once working, still doesn't make a drive read UHD, right?

Not unless you have a UHD model.

I just want to make sure I am understanding correctly.
Based on the SDF update November 2025 I see that there are a bunch of BDR-209D firmware versions listed:
Would this mean that a a BDR-209DBK (I am going to assume that BK means black) manufactured in 2022 it should now work?

For standard blu-ray, yes. For UHD no. If the firmware is pre 12/2022 it can be cross-flashed to a UHD model firmware.mossman1120 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 8:49 amI just want to make sure I am understanding correctly.

I would be looking to UHD. Is the cross flashing something that I could do myself? I have previous flashed LG drives.MartyMcNuts wrote: ↑Sun Nov 30, 2025 8:58 amFor standard blu-ray, yes. For UHD no. If the drive is manufactured before 12/2022 would that mean the firmware is okay? Would the version be on the label or it is something that would need to be dumped from the drive?
