Flashing question

Recently got another blu ray drive and it didn't ship with libredrive capable firmware, can someone please look at the info below and let me know me know if it can be flashed? I tried reading a 4K UHD disc in MakeMKV and it wouldn't even acknowledge the disc. Tried a non UHD disc and it worked fine.

Not UHD-capable. Was built a couple of years before UHD came about.

Even though the label lists 2024 as the manufacturing year? I'm guessing the eBay seller I bought it from relabelled the drive.

They didn't change the hardware, so it's telling you when it was built. Labels mean little.

The drive was actually built in 2013, per it's hardware.

Yeah there is a big releabling ring roing on over in China for both LG and pioneer drives
Only advice is don't buy from them
