If you notice, the START & EXIT buttons have enlarged fonts & the word START is cut off.

When I click the Start button, nothing happens.

Anyone experience this? Any advice would greatly be appreciated!

Successfully cross-flashed my 16D1H-U with A201 firmware to WH16NS58.
I flashed it to "A204," then "WH16NS60-1.03," and finally "WH16NS58-1.V5".
This will be the disc quality check driver.

I'm trying to find a Pioneer driver for burning discs.

Sorry if I was not clear, my other drive is failing. The Pioneer is an old drive that I have which has never been flashed, and I don't know if it can be (to read UHD discs).

My current drive is
Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST
Product: BD-RE WH16NS60
Revision: 1.02

Bought a few years ago from someone on here (can't remember who). It works for a bit then starts to make grinding noises. I'm wondering if it is overheating.

Hey guys,

Forgive me if this question has been answered elsewhere, but I can't seem to find any documentation on it. Relative n00b here... I'm trying to flash a (supposedly) new ASUS BW-16D1HT, but the tool tells me the drive is not on the MT-1959 platform. This is a new one to me. I actually successfully flashed another one of these about six weeks ago. The present copy was built December '23 and ordered off Amazon (delivered unsealed, by the way). Windows Explorer recognizes the drive, but MakeMKV won't. I'm using a Vantec USB enclosure, if that makes any difference.

Any thoughts? Is the drive faulty, or the enclosure perhaps?

Thanks.

Can you post what MakeMKV shows for the drive?

It’s not even recognizing it. I can only see it in Explorer.

FWIW: A YouTuber I communicate with on the topic thinks the drive might be counterfeit and urged me to return it ASAP, which I will do. It's a shame, because I was hoping for some future proofing. It looks like they're running out of stock fast now.
