What is the cheapest Ultra HD Blu-ray compatible drive?

I finally got to use the LG BU40N drive, and it works great. Even though the flashing guide says in order to enable the drive's ability to rip 4ks it must be flashed, my particular drive I ordered from eBay had 100% functionality out of the box with the unpatched firmware. I am not sure if this is a feature of all BU40N's as the guide wasn't very informative on this and seemed to only mention speed measurements for this drive.

It depends on the firmware version. BU40N 1.00 works out of the box. Any higher version needs to be flashed with the MK firmware.
