Excuse me, Coopervid.
But is there a way to change the firmware of my BDR 209DBK back to the original one so I can flash into the S11 firmware you sent me or should I be fine with the BDR-211UBK firmware that I am already on? Just wondering.
Why would you want to do that?
the S11 seems to have more features than the BDR 211UBK

Let me get this straight
So, the S11 and the 211UBK have the same firmware?
I am honestly confused.

If your drive displays as S11 in window your done, just download to S11 drive utility.
However, Coopervid is it possible to revert back to original firmware, if I ever sell the drive could put it back to original settings.
Probably a stupid question, but I think I know the answer.

Not sure!! I went from 209 to S11, was your drive 209 originally. If so your looking at a double or triple cross flash, you could risk bricking the drive?.
Not sure someone in the forum can assist.

Yes. The firmware can be reverted to original. But I doubt you will sell your beauty. And why would you cripple it if so?

It was just wondering if it could done. There are picky people out there. Don't worry not selling the drives great. Seem to read an write everything, and wouldn't risk bricking the drive.
Out of interest do you know if Makemkv is getting any updates. Apologies might be off topic.
