Pioneer BDR-XS07TUHD newbie help

I have an external/USB Pioneer BDR-XS107UHD drive. It works a treat with MakeMKV for standard BR discs but when I try a UHD disc it tells me it is not supported. [Incidentally as do other player applications to just play the disc]

I have had a snoop through this forum but it wasn't clear to me if this drive is able to be firmware patched to support UHD discs and if it is how I go about it. I saw the flasher tool and the all you need firmware but there didn't seem to be anything relevant to this drive there.

Nothing can be done with your drive yet. The firmware on it is too new. You will just have to wait for support. It is coming, sometime in the future.
