Hello, it looks like my drive is enabled for libredrive though its not loading the discs. Do I need to flash it?

Thank you! all worked perfectly, managed to use MakeMKV to back up a disc. Is there any software that can directly play the 4K UHD disc directly - preferably on a Mac, if not, on Windows?

Your firmware is too new and encrypted. You need to wait until mike enables flashing for it.
