Hello Coopervid,

i have came recently to the conclusion that the ODD´s have had it´s peak and are now beyond.

News about the discontinuation of Blu-ray disc production for consumers (Sony) and Blu-ray players (LG) drew my attention back to my external drive, which I had almost forgotten about and barely used.

And guess what? It's a BD-RW BDR-UD03 with the Verbatim logo on it. Bouht it years ago. I couldn´t believe it as makemkv told me so and even more as i come to read your thread here, becoming aware of the possibility that it might read UHD Discs. :D

Please let me know what is required to get this to work with MKV+UHDs.

Thank you very much.
