Lg BU40N issue

just been Ripping a BD100 disc with the above drive a third of the way though the drive stops spinning and looks like its lost "power" it doesn't Disconnect from computer at all times Windows Explorer Shows the Disc and drive at all times then a few minutes later it starts spinning again and finishes the rip

any idea's what the issue is and how i stop it

Clean the disc. Wash with liquid soap and warm water. Dry with a paper towel. Wipe with a microfiber cloth. Try again.
