Pioneer BDR-S09

Post by superd »

Hi,

Here is my makemkv output for the drive:

Drive Information
OS device name: /dev/sr0
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-S09
Revision: 1.51
Serial number: ...
Firmware date: 2018-05-08
Bus encryption flags: 1B
Highest AACS version: 68

LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: RS8601
Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-209
Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: 1.51/ID43
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes
Unrestricted read speed: Yes

No disc inserted

What I have noticed is that sometimes a BD disk is actually recognized and mounted by makemkv, but I cannot play/make backup and the things crash...
In general, reading BR disks does not work for me

Try to clean the laser lens. Buy a CD cleaning disc.
