After reading more and more into it I first thought I'd just needed the fitting firmware (but didn't know which).... until finally noticing that it wouldn't work anyway. I have a dGPU and AMD CPU which I'm not changing - so unfortunately there is that... :(

WTF you are talking about? All you need is a Windows PC that is not based on ARM.

Read this somewhere. I have a Windows PC. Maybe I could just try it?

I'm very sorry... I am ABSOLUTELY new to all of this so I cannot judge what is wrong or what is right from the getgo. And to be honest, it's not the time in my life at the moment to read dozens of hours through a topic I don't know nothing about... soooo, when I read something that COULD be true it may be just that at first glance. It was CyberLink BluRay Advisor (an analytics tool) which told me that my PC like mentioned above is not able to read UHDs, no matter which BD-Player I used.

Thanks for the PM, I may test it these days and let you know of the result. The flashing seemed to have worked but unfortunately I haven't any 4k Discs here anymore to test it right away.
