Trying to flash my WH16NS40 - scaling error on sdftools?

Post by Nippi »

Hi friends,

This is more a Windows issue than an issue with flashing, so forgive me if this isn't in the right section!

I tried flashing my WH16NS40 drive with the flasher tool and makemkv still says it has original firmware. I noticed I accidentally downloaded the old version of sdftools, so I downloaded the current version, and this is how it looks when I open it on my screen:

I've tried changing the "high dpi scaling" settings, and when I set the program to resize based on the system settings or system settings (enhanced), it will open but nothing appears but a blank window down on the main taskbar.

Nothing I seem to do is working. Does anybody know a way to fix this? I have Windows 11 and am using a 4K television as a monitor. I don't have a separate PC monitor at the moment.

Did you actually apply the DPI changes in the exe properties?

You could just use the old version if it still causes issues.
Cheers :D
