got a asus 16d1ht that has 3.11 on it. am i sol? or doing something wrong?
tried reading and searching the forums but i feel like im missing something.
i have tried the powershell method trying the MK firmware pack, also the "all you need pack". both went to 100% and "done successfully" was shown. but going back into mkv the drive is still at 3.11

Look for "Mac/linux commands to flash."Asus BW-16D1HT on any Firmware directly to > Asus BW-16D1HT 3.10MK
Hint: ASUS-BW-16D1HT-3.11 is listed as encrypted, so be sure to include 'enc' in the command line.
SDFtool Flasher on Windows is the most foolproof flashing method.

Re: ASUS BW-16D1HT
Tried what, exactly? What errors?
Ensure no disc in tray, tray closed.
Re: ASUS BW-16D1HT
tried the sdflasher and it was giving an error
ran the firmware with powershell like in: How To Flash Videos and commands:
New Updated guide for all Drives and firmware including encrypted firmware: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyQV1aPlbow
that was successful but mkv still reported 3.11
i just re-ran the sdflasher and firmware took. now mkv is reporting 3.10, so i guess im all good now.
thanks for the responses
